Crisis in Manipur

Since May 3rd, 2023, the Kuki-Zo tribals have been the victims of unspeakable atrocities at the hands of the majority radical Meitei community in the northeastern Indian state of Manipur. Hundreds have been killed, tens of thousands displaced, and total loss of faith in the government of Manipur, headed by its Chief Minister, N. Biren Singh, due to their evident inaction and bias against the Kuki-Zo.
